Hi, I'm Ekin Karadag.
I studied Computer Engineering at Bahcesehir University. I usually work on my projects in C++, Python and Bash.
I made this web page using HTML/CSS/JS and Bootstrap framework (Built on a template). So, I believe I can say that I am also familiar with HTML/CSS/JS.
This is my Data Structures and Algorithms (C++) 2018-2019 Fall term project. We were expected to write a C++ console application which reads a .csv text file that consists of 1.6M tweets and then displays the top 10 most
frequent words in the tweets. We had to exclude stop words which is used very often in daily life (i.e. a, an, the, like). 30% of the project’s grade was given for the execution time, so I had to implement the program
with a minimal time complexity.
This is a personal project of mine. As the new technologies and solutions arise, I try to keep up with them. With the popularity of blockchain and crypto-currencies, I attempted to create my own crypto-currency. They can
be mined and verified on a LAN with at least two computers, send and receive ABCs. I neither created nodes on the internet for everyone to use nor defined any IP in my code. For now, it is a closed network.
It
is actually based on an earlier version of Bitcoin, but Abode Coin runs on a totally different network without interfering with any other crypto-currency.
This is a project from when I did my summer internship at Kron. I was requested to install, setup and connect several databases that they haven’t used yet with their product SingleConnect. After setting up and connecting
every database, I kept getting questions like “Is the database up?”, “Is it connectable?”, “The credentials you told me doesn’t work.” so I created a simple Python script that runs on a Linux machine which has access
to other AWS machines.
I created website solely because I can. I used HTML/CSS/JS and Bootstrap framework. This website is actually based on a template but massively edited according to my web-design ideas.
I made this website open-source
and is also available on GitHub Pages.
I intend to open-source my projects. However, that is not always the case. Most of my projects are open-sourced and can be found on my GitHub profile.
